If reminiscing about the past is a key element of Romantic poetry, by the same token, on a culinary level, Luisa Spagnoli – the great granddaughter of the homonymous founder of Perugina chocolate – is presently attempting to recover the values of her childhood flavors while launching time honored traditional artisan hand-made chocolates in her recently inaugurated factory “Luisa Spagnoli Confiserie du Chocolat”, in the idyllic Umbrian village of Sant’Enea.
